Hello!

I’ve blogged about Lisa Johnson before, but since then, we’ve had a whole load more shoots together and as she’s had a bit of a rebrand since and so many exciting things have gone on, it was time to showcase her again.

 

I’ve known Lisa for a few years now, and have photographed her as part of her Bespoke Edit (the flexible sister of the Seasonal Edit®) for almost as long.  We’ve photographed together in London, her home, Malta, Spain, on a retreat in the middle of nowhere and later this year in Croatia!  Husband Sam (who also works in the business and a fabulous copywriter has also stepped in front of the camera on a couple of occasions too!)  I’ve seen her business grow and every day she inspires me as to what is possible within business.  So without further ado, here’s a reminder of who she is:

 

 

“My biggest fear was feeling awkward, having to do “standard” industry poses. It didn’t come true, because all our branding shoots are relaxed, and very much tailored for me and my personality…  I love that we work together as a team to get the results I wanted. Plus it’s always fun and we often sneak in a cheeky glass of wine!”

What first got you into your field?

I worked with a coach when I was running my wedding planning business, and started to learn about ideal clients, meaning I became fully booked for the next two years! But working stupid hours every weekend wasn’t what I wanted to do in life, so I researched passive and semi passive income streams, which was the first step in leading to where I am now!

 

What’s your favourite thing about the work that you do? 

That I get to meet and then help so many inspirational people. When one of my clients has an incredible launch, or reaches a target that they never believed they could, it is so rewarding.

 

What is a ‘reality’ of your work that other people don’t realise?

That there is no “overnight success”. You have to put in the work at the start to build an audience, and more importantly, an engaged audience.

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? (can be on anything!)

Work smarter not harder! Make sure you take the time to work on your business as well as in it, so you and your brand are perfectly aligned meaning you really appeal to your ideal clients.

 

What’s your cocktail / mocktail of choice?
