My relaxed, natural style is born from lifestyle photography. It’s about showing you & your business in the context of how it will be experienced by your clients and customers.
Most of us know create a first impression online. But all day, every day, we see pictures. Pictures on our screens, pictures on social media and more pictures everywhere we turn.
The best images – the ones we don’t just scroll past - make us FEEL something. They encourage us to do something, to click, donate, book, order, sign-up, follow or call. And sometimes, they can change our outlook entirely.
A photograph teaches us about something we didn't know, about someone we've never met. We make decisions and judgements based on one single image.
That's all. One image!
So we’ve GOT to get it right. Together, we can make sure those decisions and judgements your potential clients & customers make are the right ones. We can make sure YOUR pictures reflect the real you and your brand values, with intention and purpose in how you show up online.

"I loved all the photos from the shoot, they were clear and natural. You captured Lulu and my skin tone very well. That was very important to me...
You take beautiful photos. Best brand photographer I have met so far. I have tried using many photographers, who can capture my brand story, but I struggled to find one. You managed to do that in a 30min mini shoot. Impressed!"

"Amanda has a beautiful energy that makes you feel incredibly comfortable from the moment you meet. She is warm, attentive and very good at making sure you feel at ease. Amanda is a joy to be around and a true delight to work with, she is creative and open to exploring any vision's you may have. I think she really understands how to get the best out of those who she works with and that isn't always easy to do... one of the things that makes her so enjoyable to work with is that she embraces your own styles, she accepts feedback and allows you to be a part of the shooting process."

"I would say my favourite part was planning the shoot, going through the outfits and working out where we would go and the look. I absolutely LOVED that you actually found the exact location of one of my mood-board photoshoot pictures of the red phone boxes in Covent Garden. Amazing!
I tell people how brilliant and professional you are. It's so great to find a creative photographer especially that understands what you want to do and achieve."

Some dates get booked quickly - so it's best to book as far in advance as you can. Shoot dates are released on a seasonal/quarterly basis, so if you have a specific time of year in mind, get in touch so you can be the first to know when those dates get released.
I would highly recommend booking a hair and makeup artist as this not only ensures that you look amazing on camera (even if you don’t usually wear makeup, my amazing hair and makeup artist makes you look natural but camera ready) it’s a great way to start the shoot being pampered.
I also recommend booking an indoor location for your shoot, firstly this adds as a base, but given how unpredictable the Great British weather can be it means that we still create your brand images in the worst of weather. More importantly though, it means we can create all those relaxing and working shots to tell a story to your audience.
But if budget doesn’t allow for booking an indoor location, don’t worry, we can find ways to work around as part of the planning process.
If your shoot is within London or Essex then yes, travel is included. I'm always happy to travel further afield (I love exploring new places!) and can provide you with a tailored travel quote.
I understand that sometimes unavoidable things happen in life, your deposit is legally non-refundable and if your shoot is within 6 weeks, the full balance will still need to be paid and a new booking made to secure a new date.
However, if you’re outside of that 6 week period, then there is a 6 month window for you to book in a new shoot date (subject to availability)
A deposit (along with a signed contract) is required to secure the shoot date. The final balance is then due 1 month before the shoot date.
Gosh there are so many places to do your shoot and this is a huge part of the planning process we go through together. During the planning call we’ll talk through locations, styling, props, outfits – everything that makes up the building blocks of your shoot so that it all feels true to you and your brand and depicts the right message to your audience and clients.
Absolutely! Shoot planning is such a huge part of what makes a brand shoot a success – there’s no just turning up and pressing the shutter here! Plus it’s one of the things I love about being a brand photographer – creating the most amazing shoot plans. We will have an initial shoot planning call where we dive into your brand and then from there we’ll have a shared Pinterest Board to share ideas before it all goes into your detailed shoot planning document ahead of the shoot itself.
This is where having an indoor location is really valuable, and if there are outdoor elements that are crucial then to your shoot, I will make the judgement call as to if we need to move to a backup date (as I know what can be created in what weather!). It’s why if you’re booking an indoor location it’s worth checking they have a flexible cancellation policy.
In my honest opinion, it makes an amazing difference to how you feel on a shoot, but it’s not an absolute necessary to book, especially if you are confident in doing your own hair and makeup. The beauty of having a hair and makeup artist (no pun intended) is that if you need a bit of a touch up or a change of look within your shoot, then she is on hand to do that
This very much depends on the shoot you’re booking so check out the specific shoot pages for that. However, a couple of things to note... Firstly, I don’t cap the number of images, so they are approx numbers – if we create even more magic than that, you’ll get more images. But also, it’s quality over quantity, you want these images to have purpose and work hard for your business, and that’s where the planning comes in so each click of the shutter is intentional.
The images are jpegs and can be downloaded from your online gallery in both high resolution (perfect for printing) or web resolution (perfect for social media use)
For my standalone shoots there is a 15 working day turnaround on the images. For my Seasonal Edit clients, your images will be with you in 5 working days.
It’s important to me that you look like you, it’s why I work with such incredible hair and makeup artists and source the most flattering light. Having worked with 200 business owners, I understand how best to guide you to look like your amazing self – after all, this is who your clients see.
That being said, if there is a pesky fire exit sign in the back our photos, I do remove those!
Nope, these are unedited photos that do not reflect the vision we have together for your shoot – it's a bit like a chef giving you just the ingredients rather than a finished meal. RAW files are also a format that most people don’t have the software to support them, so they’re pretty useless to you.
