London brand shoot with Consultant and Campaigner Emma Clayton

Guess what…. It’s another incredible client to showcase! Now, for one reason or another my clients inspire me. But Emma, is another level of inspiration and I cannot wait for you to get to know her. I met her at one of my other client’s events (Nicola Rowley and her PR Six Pack – check it out after you’ve read this!) and her story and mission is amazing! Not only is she helping female business owners scale their business, empower them to create businesses that are driven by strategy and growth so that they can earn more income – she campaigns on behalf of female business owners to close the gender pay gap (it’s not just about the employed!) and recently presented her findings to government.

So, yeh – she’s pretty freaking awesome and you’re going to want to read on!

On this shoot, we were in another incredible shoot house (I’ll be blogging soon about why shoot houses are a great investment in your shoot) and the awesome Tom Stanhope was also there to create video footage – in fact stay tuned because Tom and I are cooking up something pretty exciting and awesome (can you tell I’m excited!). What first got you into your field?

I see a real need for female entrepreneurs to scale their business and they are fearful of recruiting and having to manage a team. I want to show them how easy it can be and how it gives you so much more freedom having others in your business when it is done right. Throughout my corporate career I managed cross-functional global teams and my agency a team of 15 – it was only when I grew my team that I hit the 7 figure mark. I want to share this with other women who are holding themselves back.

What’s your favourite thing about the work that you do?

Seeing female founders step into leadership and becoming a true business owner – there is nothing more satisfying knowing that I am heling women step into their greatest potential – and I am also adding to the UK economy because we need more women leading thriving and scalable businesses.
