Northamptonshire brand shoot with Haversley Group

A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute joy to photograph Tracy and her right hand woman Victoria to update the images for the website and socials, knowing that they have exciting plans in the pipeline.  Tracy booked her Northamptonshire brand shoot and it took place at the incredible Black and White House on Styled Home Studios.  Now you know what a sucker I am for a gorgeous location and this one did not disappoint, it even had a set of swings (and yes they featured in the shoot!)  We created a mix of working and relaxing shots as well as portraits – the perfect set to show their personality and professionalism given their extensive experience and standing in the industry.

 

And so today I want you to get to know them too!  So let’s chat with Tracy

 

What first got you into your field?

I was made redundant and felt I needed a new challenge, in a different direction, and so I moved from selling fleet cars to selling lettings and estate agency businesses ! It was fate and love at first sight when my accountant introduced me to the then-owner of Haversley who was 81 years old and started the business at 65. Learning about the intricacies gave me a fire in belly and I just had to have it 😀

 

What’s your favourite thing about the work that you do?

I LOVE the fact that we can find our sellers the perfect buyer to take on their business and keep the legacy of what they have built going. Seeing our sellers reap the rewards after years of hard work; whether that be sailing into the sunset of retirement, moving into a new field / direction or pursuing a dream.

The qualified buyers on our books are hot on the acquisition trail and it is so exciting seeing them grow their business and brand with energy and enthusiasm.

 

 

“I had, had photoshoots before and none have turned out exactly as I thought they would. The best part was that Amanda put as at ease immediately, she directed us (in a LOVELY way) and before we knew it, we were totally relaxed and going with the flow.

It was FUN (with a capital “F”) Amanda is THE best photographer I have worked with, the images are on point and divine and she is so easy to work with, she gave us confidence and that is reflected in the photos.

She is a genius and so so so so talented !

We will be using the images on socials and to revamp our website.”

 

 

What is a ‘reality’ of your work that other people don’t realise?

Each deal that we work on is like my child and I am constantly ensuring that things are moving in the right direction and that everyone is being looked after. Each deal is an emotional involvement !

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? (can be on anything!)

Every day you wake up, you have a new job…

 

What’s your cocktail / mocktail of choice?

Ooooohhh…..Espresso Martini!
