Fitness Coach Brand Shoot with Laura Bannister

Time to share another fabulous business owner who’s stepped in front of my camera, this time it’s a Fitness Coach brand shoot with Laura Bannister of LKB Fitness. This was a day where we saw all the seasons in one go – from sunshine to then rain, snow and a bit of hail – but Laura was an absolute trooper!

We started off with working and relaxing shots, before moving to the kitchen as nutrition is a very big part of her ethos and work, no point working out if you’re filling your body with rubbish right!? And then we moved into the exercising shots – getting ready for a run, yoga and weights. I loved the variety of imagery we created for Laura’s business – the beauty of The Content Brand Shoot!

But let’s get to know Laura a bit more….

What first got you into fitness coaching?

I had worked in the corporate world for almost twenty years, plus I am a mummy of two children so I wanted to do something that worked around the children and something I am passionate about. So I became a Personal Trainer. Iv always loved fitness and moving my body. I started out with face-to-face PT and with local running groups, however in lockdown number one restrictions came in and we couldn’t work with people plus the gyms closed. I decided to go LIVE on my instagram with workouts – and this is where my online fitness business all began!

What’s your favourite thing about the work that you do?

I love how I can reach so many women and help them to feel fitter, stronger, healthier & happier.

What is a ‘reality’ of your work that other people don’t realise?

Personal Trainers also get tired and have days of not feeling motivated. lol! People don’t see that side much from me – however I can assure you – these days are real. Even for the fit people. Oh and since running a business online – There is sooooo much more to an online business than people see. The technical side just frazzles my brain!
