The 2021 Summer Seasonal Mini Brand Shoots are here!!

UK Brand Shoots

After scouting some of my favourite locations in London to create that summer feel for brand imagery, whilst giving some variety in location I am excited to announce that the summer mini brand shoot sessions are here!

I’ve chosen these locations because they create a variety of images for your brand, enabling us to create a summer feel, have the options for portraits, lifestyle shots and those all-important header shots with negative space for overlaying text on.

These are areas I know well, but it was hard to narrow them down, and I wanted to use a few areas (some I’ve kept in mind for the festive mini shoot sessions later in the year, as they are just so beautiful at that time of the year, more so than normal!).

These shoots will be happening on the 2nd and 7th July, the reason for keeping them at the beginning of July is because once the summer holidays hit, London usually becomes a lot busier (although who knows how that will differ this year with tourism) and so I want to make sure you’re feeling the most at ease if you’re not surrounded by as many people – that’s not to say the streets will be quiet, but just quieter than peak tourist season!

The way the mini brand shoots work is that I have planned the area, time and date to be the most efficient use of the days, there are 8 sessions in total, spread across two dates – the 2nd and 7th July.  Each session is 30 minutes long, and once you’re booked in, I’ll be sending you a shoot planning guide to help you prepare and a brand questionnaire so that I can get to know your brand and work out the best location within the area you’ve chosen to shoot in, so that it best represents your brand.

Each location only has two mini brand shoot slots as I want to make sure your photos don’t look the same as everyone else who books on to the mini sessions.  So, without further ado, here are my London summer mini brand shoot locations for the 2021 sessions…

Brand Photography in Sloane Square and Chelsea

Chelsea always makes me think of the deep red brick buildings, there’s something old-world about them and creates gorgeous rich tones.  But within Chelsea there is also St Albert’s Bridge and lighter tones of pink and along the river, so it’s an area that has a lot to give!

Sessions: 2nd July: 9.30am and 10.45am

Brand Photography in Notting Hill

Now, Notting Hill usually conjures up the vision of crisp white and cream houses and it’s true, there are plenty of those, and they’re gorgeous.  But Notting Hill also has a whole host of bright and pastel-coloured streets and walls, which are great for adding in that pop of brand colour to your images.

Sessions: 2nd July: 2.00pm and 3.15pm

Brand Photography in Covent Garden

I absolutely love the pillars that surround Covent Garden, there are also expansive creamy white walls for those great negative space images, as well as there being a cute little garden near embankment if instead, you’re wanting a little more greenery in your shoot.  And of course, there is the hustle and bustle of the Strand and a more London feel of phone boxes and the riverside.

Sessions: 7th July: 9.30am and 10.45am

Brand Photography in Bank and St Paul’s

Having spent many years working in the City, I don’t think I appreciated the area that I walked through, head down in a rush.  It’s only when I left, did I notice how many little areas there are there.  As well as the grand architecture of both Bank and St Paul’s there are also gorgeous modern lines that can be found as well, so I’m excited to take advantage of this area a bit more this year!

As I said, it was really hard to narrow the locations down, but I’m excited to see which one you choose and book in!

See you soon!

Seasonal Mini Brand Shoot FAQ’s

What happens next?

Once you’ve booked in your date, you’ll be sent an invoice (full fee is £175) and contract, this needs to be signed and the £75 deposit paid within 48 hours to secure your place, if not I’ll need to release the date back to the wait list and then on social media.

Once the paper work side is sorted, you’ll be send a mini shoot guide to help you prepare for your shoot as well as a questionnaire which will help me get to know your brand and choose the best locations within your chosen area for your shoot, to best represent your brand on the day.

The final balance is due 1 month before the shoot and you’ll be sent a reminder 2 weeks before that due date.

How many photos will I get?

I don’t cap the number of images I provide on a shoot, but as a rule of thumb, a 30 minute shoot can result in 15+ images, with a mixture of portrait and landscape so that they are versatile for your marketing needs.

Can my team / business partner be involved in the shoot?

I know a few people have asked if they can bring others along, absolutely, but given the time restraints of a mini shoot, this is capped at 2 additional people (so 3 in total).

If you have more people than this, then the mini shoot isn’t the best option for you, but if you’d like to book a call in to chat about one of my regular brand shoots that would be more suited, you can do so by booking a call here

What happens if the weather is bad?

As these shoots are also all outside, should the Great British weather fail us, the back up dates for these shoots will be the 19th July (for shoots taking place on the 2nd July) and the 23rd July (for shoots taking place on the 7th July).  The time slots and locations will be the same.  I will be monitoring the weather closely in the run up to the shoot dates and will make a judgement call 48 hours before the shoot.

What if I can no longer make the shoot?

Seasonal Mini Shoots are held on specific days and times, and in specific locations, because of this, if you can no longer attend the shoot, the shoot fee is still due unless someone else is able to fill the spot that you have booked.

When will I get the photos?

There is a 15 working day turnaround on the images, once they are ready you will be sent a link to your own personal gallery where you can download the images in both high resolution (perfect for printing) and web resolution (perfect for online use). I would highly recommend downloading the full gallery in both sizes and to a back up device, as after 6 months the gallery will expire and you will no longer be able to access the images.
